If during summer trekking and walks are the most popular activities, during the colder season skiing dominates in all its varieties (Nordic skiing, alpine skiing, off-track skiing, etc.). All the major ski resorts are easily accessible within a few kilometers by car from Saint-Pierre, in the centre of the Aosta Valley.
Pila, for example, whose departure station from Aosta is only 10 minutes away from the Hotel, as well as the districts of Courmayeur and La Thuile, reachable respectively driving 30 and 40 kilometers represent an attractive way to spend the day.
